Mr. Guruprasad was born in Mumbai and soon after moved to Goa, where he
completed his education. After obtaining his Bachelor of Commerce degree
from Mumbai University, he went on to gain a degree in Law at V.M. Salgaocar
College of Law at Panaji, Goa. Upon graduating in 1985, he worked as an
advocate with Adv. Mahesh M. Rao, before joining the Chamber of Justice
Mr. Ferdino I. Rebello, a practicing advocate at that time, before his
elevation on 15.4.1996, and worked with him on various constitutional,
criminal and cooperative law matters. He was a member of the panel of
advocates under the Legal Aid Scheme appointed by the Mumbai High Court
for its Bench at Panaji, Goa.
Since 1993, upon being appointed as a Government Counsel, he has been representing the State of Goa and its various departments before the District Courts, North Goa and the Administrative Tribunal. He has been a member of the Bench of Lok Adalat at the District Headquarters and at the Bench of Lok Adalat for Panaji (Tiswadi Taluka).
He also handles independent matters in the legal fields of Land Acquisition, Cooperative Service, various Criminal Acts, Banking etc. He represents reputable companies in various courts in India and is a respected member of Legal & Fraternity.
The independent Trustee is responsible to the company for the following:
a. To hold and be sole signatory on a client account to receive all monies from the supplier.
b. To distribute the monies received, 20% to CashBack Sales (INDIA) PVT Ltd and 80% to the capital guaranteed investment.
c. To be sole signatory on the capital guaranteed investment to ensure consumer protection.
d. To allow full access to all accounts for auditing purposes.
